What to expect
- Pick-up from your hotel or airbnb
Pick-up time will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
- Arrive in Belle Mare & start water activities around 8.30 AM
Parasailing, Under Sea Walk & Tube-Ride starts at 8.30 AM. In case you don’t book activities, you will start the speedboat trip to Ile aux Cerfs at 10 AM.
- 10 AM ~ The speedboat trip starts
Head to Trou d’eau douce embarkation point where your speedboat is waiting near a jetty(approx 8-10mins by car from Belle Mare)
- Cruise to Grand River South-East Waterfall
Cruise to GRSE Waterfall either in the morning or after lunch, depending on the tide. Get close to the waterfall from the speedboat.
- Arrive on Ile aux Cerfs island
Cruise to Ile aux Cerfs for beach relaxation, swimming, and snorkeling in the stunning lagoon.
- Go to Margenie Islet for Lunch
Hop back on the speedboat and cruise to Ile aux Margenie, where a delicious BBQ lunch awaits in a cozy setting.
- Cruise back to Trou d'Eau Douce
Arrive back at the embarkation point around 3:15 PM, where your driver will be waiting to take you back to your accommodation.
- Drop-off at your accommodation

- We take bookings at least 48 hrs in advance. If you require a last minute booking, please talk to us via Whatsapp & we’ll do our best to find you a seat.
- Free cancellations (obtain a full refund) if you cancel the tour at least 24 hrs before the scheduled time.
- Payment methods: An upfront payment will be required at the time of booking to confirm your seat. The payment link will be found in your booking confirmation email.
- Child/Toddler Seats: First child seat ordered is Free of charge & is upon request. Any additional child seat ordered is charged at EUR 10 per seat. You are responsible for mentioning the child’s age at the time of booking so that we know which child seat/s model will be required.
- Transport package only includes pick-up from your accommodation in the morning to the jetty in Trou d’eau Douce and drop-off the same location in the afternoon.
- In case you are going on your own, we will send you the activity’s Google map location at least a day before the trip or talk to us via Whatsapp.
- Water activities are done at Belle Mare beach as from 8.30 am. The speedboat trip to Ile aux Cerfs island starts at 10 AM in Trou d’eau douce beach (5mins drive from Belle Mare) – your driver will take you there when you finish your water activities. Parasailing, Undersea Walk & Tuba-Riding should be reserved in advance & cannot be booked on the spot.
- Parasailing activity is not suitable for children under 6 yrs old.
- Undersea-Walk activity is not suitable for children under 8 yrs old.
- In case you do not wish to book the water activities, your tour starts directly from Trou d’eau douce jetty at 10 AM.
- Snorkeling gear: Bring your own equipment or use the ones available on board (limited)
- Cleaning Fees: In cases of vomiting, spreading sand, or spilling food or drinks in the vehicle, a MUR 400 cleaning fee will be charged. This fee is intended to cover restoring the vehicle’s cleanliness. Your cooperation in maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for passengers is greatly appreciated.
- No eating, no drinking, & no smoking in vehicle due to the cleanliness and respect for other passengers. There may be an exception if passengers need to eat or drink for medical reasons.
- Bad weather: Taxi Service Mauritius reserves the right to cancel a trip in the event of adverse weather conditions, such as cyclones & torrential rain, as warned by the local authorities. The safety and well-being of our passengers are our top priorities, and we appreciate your understanding in such circumstances. We will notify you as early as possible in case of any cancellations due to weather concerns. Full refund will be made in case you are not able to reschedule the trip for another day. We do not provide service when a cyclone of class 3 or higher is in effect.
- Booking Policy: Customers are kindly requested to refrain from arranging trips directly with the drivers. All bookings must be made through our office for proper coordination and record-keeping. Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate suspension of both the driver and the customer from our systems. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this guideline for efficient and streamlined service.
